🇫🇷 FRANCE | 🇻🇳 VIETNAMAgnès Lefèvre
Agnès Lefèvre is a French-Vietnamese contemporary painter based in Paris. She studied painting at the Ateliers de Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris and continued her artistic development independently. Working primarily in oil on canvas, she combines traditional painting techniques with photographic observation, creating works of remarkable precision and clarity.
Lefèvre is particularly interested in still life, exploring materials, surfaces, textures, shapes, and vibrant colours. Everyday objects are transformed through her hyperrealistic approach, becoming visually striking studies of light, colour, and perception. Her paintings often balance meticulous realism with a sense of abstraction, inviting the viewer to look beyond the immediate subject.
Since 2013, her work has been shown internationally in France, the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, and Switzerland. Her participation in exhibitions devoted to contemporary hyperrealism has established her as a distinctive voice within the European movement. Through her disciplined technique and vivid imagery, Lefèvre demonstrates how hyperrealism can turn familiar objects into captivating and sometimes enigmatic visual experiences.
