🇮🇹 ITALYChiara Albertoni

Chiara Albertoni, born in 1979 in Padua, Italy, is a contemporary realist painter whose work is closely associated with hyperrealism. She is particularly known for her highly detailead depictions of nature, flowers, trees, leaves, snow, and other delicate elements of the natural world. Working primarily in oil on canvas, Albertoni often uses a restrained, sometimes almost monochromatic palette, allowing light, texture, and minute details to become the central protagonists of her paintings.

Her images are based on photographic observations, yet they transcend straightforward representation. Through extreme precision and unusual framing, familiar natural forms acquire a mysterious, almost dreamlike presence. A frost-covered spider web, a twisted tree, or an enlarged flower can appear simultaneously monumental and fragile, inviting associations beyond the visible subject.

Albertoni’s work has been presented in numerous exhibitions in Italy and internationally. She received recognition at the Como Contemporary Contest and participated in the Art Stays Festival. Her paintings demonstrate how hyperrealist technique can transform seemingly ordinary fragments of nature into contemplative images of silence, beauty, and fragility.
